Activity Assistant Job Duties
- Responsible for hosting daily activities
- Responsible for transporting residents using community vehicle as needed
- Educates, trains and encourages team members on activity opportunities
- Meets and greets each resident upon move-in to welcome them and their family to the Community
- Decorates the common areas for special events and holidays as needed
- Takes attendance and photographs of daily activities
- Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents' rights
- Attend training sessions as directed by supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Activity Assistant Job Requirements
We are looking for a skilled people-person with a compassionate spirit and an enthusiasm for working with seniors! Ideally, this person will have at least 1 year of experience working in a similar role - a degree in psychology or kinesiology preferred but not required. This person will have strong communication skills, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and a basic understanding of computer programs.
