An individual will be responsible for providing non-medical in-home health care services to adults and children requiring assistance with daily living. As a Home Health Aide, you will also provide support and assistance with personal hygiene, feeding, dressing and general well-being. You must be able to assist patients with transferring to and from bed, chair and other devices. Your duties may also include meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry. The ideal candidate must have good communication skills and an ability to work with people of all ages. Since this position involves frequent contact with patients, you should be patient, reliable and display strong personal integrity. Ultimately, you should provide physical assistance so that our clients can remain independent at home by maintaining their routine self-care activities. Responsibilities: Clean and disinfect rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and family members’ personal items. Provide direct health care services such as administering medicine and monitoring vitals. Assist with feeding and bathing, transferring from bed to chair or wheelchair. Oversee meal preparation and assist with grocery shopping.,Maintain a sanitary environment for patients and equipment. Monitor patient’s social and psychological well-being. Transport patients to medical appointments in a timely manner. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Liaise with family members and caregivers to ensure the safety of the patient.
