We are looking for compassionate Medication Technicians to provide assistance with self administration of medication to our residents in our Assisted Living/Memory Care Community in accordance with an established care plan. Responsibilities Assist with Self Administration of simple prescribed medications Assist with residents personal care activities Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition Maintain resident care records and document provided services Assist residents with mobility and physical therapies/exercises Instruct and counsel residents and families on diet and exercise Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Skills Proven working experience as medication technician Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards Nursing and health care administration skills Caring and compassionate personality Current CPR certificate First Aid training Valid driver’s license High school diploma or equivalent Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Medical specialties: Geriatrics Physical setting: Long term care Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Holidays Night shift Overnight shift Rotating weekends Weekend availability COVID-19 considerations: Health screening required upon entry into the community.
