Job description Nurse Registry -Home Care agency located in West Palm Beach, Florida is hiring a Billing & Collections specialist. We are looking for an individual who is a team player, motivated, and looking to join a great team. Job Duties Experience in Billing and Collections a must Have authorization knowledge Posting of charges in variety of clearing house portals Monitoring accouts to identify overdue payments Experience in analyzing and correcting rejected payment issues Knowledge on resubsmission of claims Keeping accurate records and reporting on collections activity Initiating corrections via rebills or projects Reporting on collections activity Working closely with patients, insurance companies - Managed Long Term Care Knowledge of HHA Exchange System (a plus) Specialist utilizing HHA Exchange System Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques Familiarity with laws related to debt collection Working knowledge of MS Office and databases Comfortable working with targets Patience and ability to manage stress Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: West Palm Beach, FL 33405: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred) Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: One location
