Clinical RN Full-time Job

The Clinical Nurse (RN) will support COVID response efforts by DeliveRxd Pharmacy’s COVID team primarily by administering monoclonal antibodies (mABs) to patients in their homes that have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and performing COVID related testing if needed. The RN will be responsible for providing safe infusion administration of the prescribed therapies while maintaining strict isolation protocol. The RN is expected to appropriately monitor for and respond to adverse events including allergic reactions and side effect or symptom management. Responsibilities include: Informing patient of expected time of arrival, traveling to the patient’s home, reviewing criteria and consent for infusion, assessing vital signs, starting an IV, administration of monoclonal antibody infusions to patients then monitoring for adverse effects. The infusion RN may also participate in COVID testing and vaccine events as needed if they so choose. The RN must be familiar with and implement guidelines, regulation, best practices for COVID-19 patients and facilitate patient teaching as needed. The clinical RN must also be able to maintain accurate documentation and is responsible for returning the documentation to the pharmacy in a timely manner. Other duties as required.
