Full Job Description:
An established commercial cabinet shop is currently seeking an experienced Shop Foreman. Our shop specializes in the manufacturing of Architectural Millwork/casework and other special interior items for assisted living facilities, medical buildings and offices throughout the nation!
Looking for a highly motivated individual to:
- Manage 5-10 Employees
- Oversee production and maintain product quality.
- Manage production to maintain a tight delivery schedule.
- Enforce safety regulations, rules, and working conditions.
- Advise and support shop colleagues on construction and production methods.
- Shop Foreman will also be responsible for completing or assisting in production work and installation.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
- Be organized and punctual.
- 5+ years of Woodworking SHOP experience.
- Knowledge of production cabinet custom methods.
- Must be able to read and build from shop prints.
- Knowledge of plastic laminates, solid woods, and veneers.
- Be self-motivated and quality-driven.
- Ability to effectively problem-solve.
