We are currently looking for a Weekend RN for our Manatee County region. Candidates must work Saturday and Sunday but may choose one other days, (i.e. Thursday-Friday, Friday-Monday, or Monday-Tuesday). Baylor position is a four-day workweek vs five days for a normal full-time RN position. The qualified candidates will be responsible for providing after-hours support and weekend on-call nursing services by assisting patients’ over the phone or by making home health visits that include skilled assessments and patient care in accordance with the client's plan of care to include comprehensive health and psychosocial evaluation, monitoring of the client’s condition, health promotion and prevention coordination of services, teaching and training activities and direct nursing care.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree with One (1) to two (2) years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting. Two (2) years of home health care experience preferred.
• Must be licensed in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization's requirements.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, basic math skills, and nursing skills per competency checklist.
• Prolonged or considerable walking and standing. Able to lift, position, or transfer patients. Able to lift supplies and equipment. Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, or crouching.
• Visual acuity and hearing to perform required skills.
