SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - Full Time - IMMEDIATE HIRE!
Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist plans, organizes and implements speech-language pathology and dysphagia services in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility and as may be coordinated by the Director of Rehabilitation to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is delivered.
Responsibilities/ Qualifications
1. Screens, evaluates, develops, organizes and implements patient/resident care programs through the utilization of selected speech-language, swallowing and aural rehabilitation testing and treatment procedures.
2. Graduate of an accredited speech-language pathology Master's program, eligible for license in the state in which the program is located, and has ASHA Certification or is in the Clinical Fellowship Year to complete that certification.
3. Ability to work flexible work hours to support state and federal resident care requirements.
4. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred.
