We are looking to hire someone for a commercial maintenance position in the Tallahasse area. The applicant will need to be self-sufficient in how to problem solve and make repairs in a variety of trades listed below as the senior living community, it’s staff and residents need them done. Applicant will be on-call at various times in case of emergency at the senior living community. It is crucial that the applicant be a great communicator with on-site and corporate management, staff, vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and GRT company management. Applicants must be self-motivated and self-sufficient when it comes to all construction and maintenance tasks. Applicants must also maintain a positive attitude. This is not an entry-level position or apprentice position. Applicant needs to be proficient at the following trades: Drywall installation Drywall finishing Painting Caulking Light finish carpentry Door installation Acoustic ceilings Minor electrical Minor plumbing HVAC maintenance Appliance maintenance More maintenance-related tasks as needed Wallpaper and flooring experience preferred Applicant will be trained in emergency mitigation and remediation protocols (water damages, mold remediation, etc.) Requirements: Applicants must be able to pass a background check and be legal to work in the United States.
