The Sales Specialist is responsible for all sales activities, community outreach, special events, initiating and following up on all leads and achieving occupancy according to an established budget for communities with vacant sales director's positions or in underperforming communities. In vacant communities, once a new sales director is hired, the Sales Specialist is to assist in conducting training and onboarding of new associates. This position may assist multiple Sales Directors in planning and implementing sales and marketing programs for their respective communities for company-wide events.
This role will have extensive travel required (60%-80%) to include multiple week stays at the community you will be assisting, as needed. In short, you will have the opportunity to step in and be the Sales Director in the event that a community is without one, and then when one is hired you'll get to work with that person on training and transition of work duties.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual who embraces daily planning and implementation of sales and marketing programs, and who has a proven track record of maintaining community occupancy levels.
The Sales Specialist we select must have demonstrated success in marketing and outside sales for a senior living community including community awareness, development of outreach programs and lead event coordination.
Other requirements for the position include:
A minimum of two years of experience in a sales role preferably in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing facility or memory care community
Ability to meet occupancy, community outreach and other sales goals
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to track all sales activities and meet budgeted occupancy, revenue, and quarterly sales goals
Computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities
The ability to assure residence awareness through design, implementation, and maintenance of outreach programs for referral sources and community organizations
