Resident Assistant Part Time Full-time Job

Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Wellness Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity. This position reports to the Health and Wellness Director. Essential Functions: · Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living. · Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor. · Provide emotional and social support to residents. · Document daily log of assistance. · Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns. · Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents. · Respect residents’ confidentiality. Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information. · Familiarity with emergency equipment and procedures. · Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements: Level of Formal Education : A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Area of Study: General Years of Experience: prefer at least one year of related experience Type of Experience: In a skilled, sub-acute, or memory care setting Special Certifications: May require a CAN or CHHA licensure Language Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills Skills and Ability: · High degree of business acumen combined with the ability to effectively lead, coach and develop others. · Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, employees and outside contacts. · Good verbal and written communication skills. · Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multi task and meet deadlines. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Overnight shift Weekend availability COVID-19 considerations: All employees are required to wear a mask.
