This position is for home health staffing visits and Medicare part B in home visits. Ideal territory from West Palm Beach to Boynton Beach. Position Summary: The staff Physical Therapist, upon referral from an appropriate licensed practitioner, is responsible for providing therapy services to patients including assessments, treatment planning and implementation of related documentation and communication. The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients to produce effective outcomes. The Physical Therapist communicates and assists in resolving issues, and demonstrates effective resource utilization that is imperative to operational stability within the organization. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Minimum- Bachelor of Science Degree Experience: Experience desired, but not required Required Certification/ Licensure/Registration: Florida license as a Physical Therapist from the Agency of Health Care Administration’s Division of Medical Quality Assurance. Current AHA BLS CPR card Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Evening and weekend work may be required in order to fit patient schedules Therapists must have a valid driver’s license under the state in which they practice, and are required to drive to patient’s homes. Commute times between patients may vary from 5 minutes - 45 minutes Physical Demands: Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds Moving, lifting or transferring of patients may involve lifting up to one hundred (100) pounds Ability to stand for extended periods (30 minutes-1 hour) Squatting, kneeling, turn/twisting frequently Fine motor skills Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $65.00 - $90.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: Monday to Friday Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) License/Certification: Physical Therapy License (Required) CPR Certification (Preferred) Work Location: Multiple Locations
