We are seeking a skilled Move-In Coordinator for our Jacksonville Team!

Summary/Objective

The Move In Coordinator will function as part of the Community's sales team. Responds to sales inquiries by phone and in person, maintaining sales lead data in the CRM, marketing and lead development events, and execution of the sales process.


Essential Functions

1. Greets prospects entering the Community in a courteous, warm, and professional manner

2. Answers general questions regarding the Community to potential residents or inquiring parties

3. Assists in handling resident referrals, and transitions referrals into the lead development process

4. Helps to maintain move-in and move-out log/inventory board to maintain control of availability within the Community

5. Ensures the execution of move-ins consistent with company expectations, including utilization of the documentation for new residents, working with welcoming committees, coordination of department managers regarding the needs/concerns of the resident and execution of new resident processes

6. Ensures apartment readiness with appropriate department leaders, including the Sales Director, Maintenance Director, Resident Program Director, and the Executive Director

7. Tours the Community to prospective residents and/or their families if the Sales Director(s) is unavailable

8. Invites depositors to attend functions and other unique privileges held by the Community in order to keep interest high during transition period; maintains strong relationships with depositors

9. Maintains regular contact with leads and future residents

10. Participates in resident events and other functions hosted by the Community

11. Provides sales and administrative capabilities to the sales team, with a focus on accomplishment of team sales goals

12. Other duties assigned by management


Work Environment

Works in a well-lighted area that is ventilated and as physically, physiologically and psychologically innocuous as possible under the conditions which exist at any particular time. On occasion, there may be exposure to outdoor spaces, which will, by their nature, have variances in air quality, temperature, walking surfaces, lighting, and other physical aspects. Because the essential functions may require exposure to bodily functions and infectious waste, diseases, odors and other situations associated with health care, including but not limited to exposure to AIDS, HIV and Hepatitis B viruses involving Risk Classification Categories 2 and 3**, environmental and safety conditions will fluctuate. To be qualified for the position of Sales Assistant, an applicant/Associate will need to possess the ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to ones self or others.


Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Frequent body movements include, lifting, moving, transferring, bending, stooping, squatting and reaching. Able to lift, push, pull and/or carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, unassisted, with twisting and turning of the torso. Ability to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.


Certifications, Licenses, Education and Experience and other Special Requirements

Bachelors degree in Sales and Marketing Development preferred; two years related experience, preferably in the senior living environment required. S(he) should be able to accomplish tasks with little supervision, demonstrate strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail. Availability to work special occasions, evenings, and/or weekends. Possess extensive knowledge of and understanding of the organization and work environment. Ability to use independent judgement decisions based on precedents and established guidelines. S(he) should have working efficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook and should exhibit extraordinary organizational and time management skills, as well as strong communication skills (written and verbal) in order to effectively interact with personnel, visitors, and the general public with patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition. S(he) must also possess and maintain a valid drivers license free from significant points or violations.
