HHA/CNA Full-time Job

***Immediate hire for one on one care in our beautiful ALF and Independent Living Community Aston Gardens at Pelican Point in Venice !*** About Discovery at Home, LLC Discovery At Home is a Medicare-certified home healthcare agency looking for HHA’s and CNA's to provide one on one care with our clients residing in our Independent and ALF buildings. The Caregiver's role includes providing hands on care and physical and emotional support, while maintaining a safe and comfortable home like environment. Responsibilities include: Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and living areas Help maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety Assisting with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed Engaging in life skills and other life enrichment activities Position Requirements: Certified Nursing Assistant certification or 75 hours of HHA Certification from accredited school CPR – American Heart Association or Red Cross Must be 18 years of age Previous experience working with seniors preferred Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers Superior customer service skills Ability to handle multiple priorities Must demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills Benefits: In addition to a rewarding career and competitive salary, Discovery offers a comprehensive benefit package.
