We are looking for a Concierge for our beautiful Delray Beach community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing switchboard coverage.
  • Serve as receptionist and greet guests, residents, vendors, suppliers, etc., either in person or on the telephone in a warm and professional manner.
  • Be discrete and honest.
  • Be clear, friendly and professional on telephone calls.
  • Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately. Keep difficult situations from escalating.
  • Accept packages delivered, documents receipt of packages in logbook, and notifies resident (recipient) of delivery.
  • Distribute packages, business mail and magazines.
  • Maintain security for admittance to all entries accessible to public.
  • Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff.
  • Ensure lobby area is kept neat and clean. Picks up debris and keeps desk work area clutter free.
  • Complete tasks on the computer such as inputting resident data, maintaining resident and associate databases.
  • Greet job prospects, provide job application, and explain next steps regarding interview process.
  • Stay informed of the communities’ activities, meetings and various events.
  • Assist the Executive Director and the Associate Director with various administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as Receptionist/Switchboard Operator/Hospitality Concierge required.
  • Prior experience in a senior living environment or equivalent industry preferred.
  • Prior experience as an administrative assistant preferred.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently.
